How to delete your account and personal data from CaptrID
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. We will process your request within 30 days.
Delete Your Account (In-App)
Admin Portal (Web)
- Sign in to the CaptrID Admin Portal at app.captrid.com
- Open the user menu (top-right corner) and select Profile
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Mobile App (iOS / Android)
- Open the CaptrID app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Request Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access your account, you can request deletion by emailing us:
- Email: support@captrid.com
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Include: The email address associated with your account
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
What Data Is Deleted

| Session assignments | Unlinked (session data retained for the organisation) |
| Photos you captured | Retained by the subscribing organisation (they are the data controller) |
| Audit log entries referencing your actions | Retained with anonymised user reference (legal/compliance requirement) |
Note: If you are a credential subject (i.e. your photo or personal information was captured by an organisation using CaptrID), your data is controlled by that organisation. Please contact the organisation directly to request deletion of your personal records, or ask them to use CaptrID's built-in person erasure tools.
Organisation Data
Account deletion removes your user account. It does not delete the organisation or its data. Organisation data (sessions, photos, rosters) is owned by the subscribing organisation and is managed by organisation administrators.
If you are the sole administrator of an organisation, you will need to either:
- Assign another administrator before deleting your account, or
- Contact us at support@captrid.com to arrange organisation closure
